Find the Right Kansai Karate Program.

From three-year-olds taking their first steps onto the mat to students chasing the competition floor – six programs, structured by age and ability, all built on the same values.

The Kansai Method.

However old a student is, or whichever program they’re in, every Kansai class is built around the same five values.

Discipline

Structure and repetition that builds focus, on and off the mat.

Respect

For instructors, training partners, and yourself.

Confidence

Learnt through effort and visible progress, not given away.

Community

Classes where every student is known, and every family feels part of something.

Fitness & Coordination

A full-body workout wrapped in every lesson.

CUBS (AGES 3–4)

At this age, karate isn’t about kicks and punches. It’s about learning to listen, take turns, and follow along in a group. Cubs classes are short, playful and structured around simple, achievable wins, so every child leaves feeling proud of something they did today.

What you can expect: games, basic movement patterns and lots of encouragement.

LITTLE LIONS (AGES 5–7)

Where discipline and confidence start. Little Lions is a full-body workout dressed up as a karate class. Students learn real technique — stances, strikes, blocks — while building the self-belief that comes from mastering something new.

What you can expect: classes that are structured but energetic, with enough repetition to build muscle memory and enough variety to keep little lions engaged for the full lesson.

JUNIORS (AGES 8–12)

Juniors is where technique gets serious. Students build a genuine self-defence skill set — but just as importantly, they build the resilience, focus and self-respect that carry them through high school and beyond.

What you can expect: classes that balance structured drills with sparring and kata, and the opportunity to start working toward belt gradings.

TEEN KARATE (AGES 13+)

Teenagers carry a specific kind of energy — and a specific kind of pressure. Teen Karate gives them somewhere to put both. Beyond fitness and self-defence, teens get an instructor relationship that’s often one of the steadiest in their week, and a peer group built around effort rather than image.

ADULT KARATE

Adult Karate is a genuine workout — strikes, sparring, conditioning — and a community you’ll actually want to come back to. Students train at their own pace alongside others at every level, from complete beginners to lapsed martial artists getting back into it.

What you can expect: build strength, learn real self-defence, and pick up a few friends along the way.

KANSAI SPORTS KARATE

For students ready to push past the standard curriculum. Kansai Sports Karate is our competition pathway — advanced sparring, tournament prep and technical refinement for students of any age. Training is intense and performance-focused, building toward local, state and national competition.

Kansai Sports Karate program is application only.
